Continuing from the first day, as I began studying web design, I have heard in your address a lot of criticism and discontent. Then I listened to everyone and everything. Sometimes, when the work myself really liked, and in her address, it was a lot of negative, - very upset. Were some good reviews, perhaps they saved and have not surrendered and gave up all to hell.
Work, communicate, spinning in design circles, to gain experience. I noticed that the number of negative reviews did not become smaller. Positive, of course, grew up. The only thing changed the situation that had often spoken in person, now more and more behind his back.
If everyone listened to before, but now almost anyone. The reasons for this behavior is very obvious. Web designers, as well as representatives of any other profession, can be divided into three groups:
1. Great pros, which is to grow and grow, simply do not spend their time to discuss some one's work and give advice. Eventually, I became convinced that they are right, but about this later.
2. There are designers, which is approximately the same level. The level of this, I estimate the quality of work and / or price, which is taken for the provision of services.
Among this group is "an evil spawn", which believes that it underestimated what he had taken away jobs, they are underpaid. And those who did better, these people are trying to sling mud and do mischief to all sorts of ways. Sometimes they try to behave as if he belongs to the first group, but the behavior issues falsity. A man who knows his own worth, will never fill it with something like: "I can much better, you know."
3. The most wonderful group that I probably would have no scruples, put up against a wall and shot one of them. These are wonderful people who have little know how, little has been achieved, but try to be clever, though the bread does not feed. They know best what should be the customer, how to properly and efficiently create a website, as it is more profitable to sell, always mention that this work is clearly not worth as much as for her request. But, when all of this, they can not boast of having only themselves to have succeeded. Typically, they respond with something like: "I am not a designer, copywriter" or "I do not do websites, I have to get the ball rolling. But my favorite: "I'm not interested, just know how to do."
Well, as you can not shoot those f....? :)
So it turns out that of all those involved in the area of your work, in my case is a web-design, it makes sense to listen (and possible) only the first half of the representatives of the second group. They will give practical advice, inveigh against, but in the case and sincerely, poke a finger in the error and explain how to avoid it in the future. The rest are wood.
This is exactly the same way as I have a negative attitude to "web designers" from the third category. And for him and I am one of them, a designer in quotation marks:) And I now realize that the only possible thing to push and "shoot", let them at least morally. To some extent, meaningless, all is not to shoot anyway. But sometimes so'll get that and keep silent no longer available.
